Weiler Convenience Store is matching up to $500 for anybody that stops by to donate, with proceeds benefiting South Wood County Humane Society. Simply fill out a form and turn it in at the register with a donation.
The organization took took in 76 dogs after Wood County officials seized the animals from two locations in Babcock and Remington on September 21 and 23 after concerns for their care. Current needs for the shelter include quart\gallon size Ziplock bags, paper towel, and monetary donations to cover medical costs.
