City of Marshfield Board of Public Works Approves Preliminary 2018 Asphalt Paving List
The City of Marshfield Street Division has been busy this summer with various projects. A complete list was submitted to the Board of Public Works on October 16 (also listed below).

Asphalt Mill-In-Place
- Hawthorn Ave (cul-de-sac to cul-de-sac) – Pulverizing scheduled for the week of October 16th, paving to be scheduled
- 8th St (Linden to Holly) – Pulverizing scheduled for the week of October 16th, paving to be scheduled 12th St (Central to Maple) – complete
- Arnold (Hinman to cul-de-sac) – on-going, pulverizing is scheduled for the week of October 16th, paving to be scheduled
- Carmen (Palmetto to Waushara) – pulverizing scheduled for the week of October 16th, paving to be scheduled
- Kathrine Ct (cul-de-sac) – pulverizing scheduled for the week of October 16th, paving to be scheduled
- Cherry Ave (Franklin to Grant) – complete

- Catch basin repairs

- Build end wall on storm sewer at Wallonnie Drive

Sanitary Sewer Maintenance/Reconstruction

- Crack filling- regular crack filling has been completed

Preliminary 2018 Asphalt Paving List
As of now, the proposed list is 4.7% below the budgeted amount, but staff are estimating on cost at this point. Learn more about city street repairs here. The total estimated cost is $1,864,138. Also preliminary is the actual list itself, which is subject to change.
“We call it preliminary, because it could change,” said Dan Knoeck, Public Works Director.

- Palmetto Ave (Depot to Blodgett)
- Wallonnie Dr (Palmetto to Palmetto)
- Auburn Ave (Blodgett to Fillmore)
- Ridge Rd (Schmit to Cul-de-sac)
