On Sunday, 9/9, a service of thanksgiving was held at the property of Wesley United Methodist Church for everyone involved in putting out the devastating fire which occurred September 2. The fire was determined to be accidental and originated in the kitchen, resulting in a total loss of the building.
The crowd included the firefighters, police officers, investigators involved in attending the fire along with local pastors and community members, all showing their support to the Wesley congregation. Service was concluded with a rendition of “Amazing Grace.”
Church services have moved to the Seventh Day Adventist Church on Sundays at 9 a.m.
