Will Strohman Park Stay or Go?
On January 4, 1981, Marvin Strohman died in the line of duty. At the corner of Central Ave and 6th Street, a park was built in his remembrance. Strohman Park recognizes not only the price that Marvin paid to the city, but it recognizes many of Marshfield’s firefighters that have served.
The park sits on public property and is part of the City Hall Plaza. What happens to this Fire Fighter Memorial if the City Hall is sold?
