Nutz Deep II’s 7th annual Run Your Nutz Off was another success, raising $6,139 for Children’s Miracle Network at Marshfield Medical Center.

“I think the event went well this year. Every year I learn something new or ways to improve the event for the coming years,” said Ann Dieringer, Event Coordinator. “My goal was $5,000, so surpassing $6,000 makes me so happy!”

Dieringer chose CMN as the beneficiary this year because of its role in caring for her baby son after a medical scare earlier this year. With the help of many Child Life and pediatric specialists, and ER and Pediatric ICU doctors and nurses, her son recovered.

RYNO was held August 18 and featured a 2 and 5-mile race along with fun festivities which included food, outdoor beer garden, music, raffle, and auction. Nutz Deep II has raised nearly $70,000 for various causes, with all fund staying local.

“Thank you to all the sponsors: The Kim and Cheryl Heiman Family Foundation, Paul Rogers, Premier Printing, Simplicity Credit Union, Hupy and Abraham, Marshfield Insurance, Fitness Belle, The Baltus Company, and all the volunteers and participants for making this event a success!” said Dieringer.
