UPDATED: Boy Scout units dropped off yellow Scouting for Food bags on doorsteps in Marshfield this week. The food collection is an annual program of the Boy Scouts of America.

Starting 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, they will return to collect any food deposited in these bags, which should be set out on the doorstep by this time. The collection will be delivered to local food pantry Soup or Socks, who will assist in sorting donations at 1st Presbyterian Church, some of which will go to St. Vincent de Paul.

The community-wide collection includes Hewitt. About 6,051 homes were delivered to in Marshfield, according to Shannon Bodendorfer, treasurer for Troop 384. Anyone can drop off donations at the church.
